Valerie Jar developed a series of cool stamp icons for the National Parks by National Geographic app, an interactive guide to the U.S.‘s national parks.
North Kingdom Project
The “Jack Boxer” app is in the story built by an underground organization with the same name. The app is mainly a way for them to communicate securely using text, image and audio messaging. The “Jack Boxer” is found in Daybreak, which is a web TV series deeply integrated with an immersive digital layer. It’s a continuation of a sidetrack from the tv serie “Touch” with Kiefer Sutherland.
WTHR
Dieter Rams’ Ten Principles for Good Design inspired the latest weather app, WTHR, by Visual Designer David Elgena. The identity of Braun products subtly come through with the classic minimalist forms, universal icons, intuitive display and clean, simple font. The drop shadows on the symbol displays and toggle button for temperature conversion add depth while using the app which makes the iPhone transform into another (Apple) product.
The Champagne Protocoles de G.H.MUMM
The Champagne Protocoles de G.H.MUMM application, a 12-chapter guide to 100 protocols, is designed to initiate you into the rituals and rules of champagne, for your drinking pleasure. With this application, you can learn right from the opening four chapters how to handle a jeroboam, sabre a bottle of champagne, bring it to the perfect temperature, and serve it in an appropriate glass. A series of further delicious rituals will then be regularly unveiled.
The Incredibox Remixes Songs, Bobby McFerrin-Style
The Incredible Polo, which appears to be an all-vocals, one-man band in the style of Bobby McFerrin, struck upon an innovative approach to promote its new release: a web app that lets you remix its song by dragging and dropping melodies, effects, beats, voices and choruses onto a bunch of animated versions of the artist doing his thing.
